Lisa Gonzales worked for more than 25 years in the State of New Mexico’s judicial system. She retired in 2011 while serving as an appellate court paralegal to Judge Roderick Kennedy. Prior to her position at the Court of Appeals she worked in Metropolitan Court, lastly as administrative assistant to now New Mexico Supreme Court Justice Judith Nakamura. After retiring from the State, Lisa worked as a legal assistant for four years with a prominent Albuquerque law firm before leaving and joining the Kennedy Kennedy & Ives team because she believes that the work the Firm does helps keep the scales of justice balanced. Outside of work Lisa is a voracious reader and roller coaster rider; she belongs to the American Coaster Enthusiasts club. One of her favorite thrill rides is Cedarpoint’s Top Thrill Dragster.
